To further add to our practices quality of life, our office is filled with the sounds of wide variety of music throughout the day. Whether it be Classical, Jazz, Disco, Funk, Show, Latin, Country Blues, Folk, or New Age music, it can be heard while in our office. We have over five hundred tapes and CDs from which we choose our hour by hour music selections.
Many patients have their own personal selections, whether chosen from our library, or brought by them, played during their time in the office. Of course, if anyone wants silence, it can be had, for each room in our office has its own volume control.
Our practice was one of the first in Washington D.C. metro area to be computerized. We employ state of the art intra-office communication equipment so that our staff can work in a coordinated fashion while patients remain unaware of much of the activity.
We subscribe to over thirty magazines. Included titles are: Time, Newsweek, Architectural Digest, National Geographic, Vogue, Scientific America, Parents, Sports Illustrated, Consumer Reports, Vanity Fair, People, PC Magazine, Golf and more. We keep our sections current, also.
In light of today's heightened awareness, we have worked hard to establish a sterilization program that meets or exceeds O.S.H.A. and C.D.C. Guidelines. We have designed our program to ensure the safety of both patients and staff. You will notice our gloves and masks, but there is much more to sterilization procedures than that. Just ask and we will be happy to explain the details or give you a tour of our sterilization area.
Our staff works hard to provide excellent care and hospitality to our patients and our professional associates (doctor colleagues, vendor representatives, etc.). During busy days it is often necessary for staff members to rest and re-vitalize when time permits. To this end, we have a spacious and comfortable staff lounge and conference room. The room has a full service kitchen, audio-video equipment and dinning/conference table. Whether it be for lunch, for staff meetings, or for R&R, our conference room is vital to the success of our effort. It also serves as a continuing education facility for the many classes that PIAGW provides for our colleagues.
There is never a "right time" for a dental emergency. Recognizing this, our staff strives to promptly accommodate your schedule and your needs. As soon as an emergency arises, contact the office immediately.
Should you find yourself with a dental emergency after the office has closed, the doctors' telephone numbers can be obtained by calling the office. There will be a recorded message providing you with the phone number of the doctor you are to contact.
Patients receiving care should never hesitate to call any of the doctors should they have an emergency situation or a concern about their status. Often, preventable damage can be precluded by making a timely phone call. Don't be a hero. Call us if you need us.
